Profile
Digital Techniques is the Australian office for Digital Techniques (Asia) Limited and we are here to service and support our global network of customers and resellers. Digital Techniques (Asia) Limited was originally incorporated in Sydney Australia in 1992 Digital Techniques commenced as a developer and manufacturer of digital voice logging recorders for the emerging digital PBX market requirements for voice logging. The trademarked products OSCOM TM have gained global recognition as a well featured, low priced and reliable system.

More recently Digital Techniques have moved into the IP PBX market. We are the official Digium distributor for Asia and the Middle East but offer many other solutions for the Asterisked based market.

Digital Techniques is focused on providing solutions and products for the Call Recording, Call Centre and IP PBX markets.

Digital Techniques solutions offer customers the ability to reduce the costs of traditional TDM and VoIP implementations through Open Source, standards-based software and next-generation gateways, media servers, and application servers. Digital Techniques hardware used supports traditional voice protocols, including PRI, RBS, FXS, FXO, E&M, Feature Group D, Groundstart, Loopstart, and GR-303. Data protocols include PPP, Cisco HDLC, and Frame Relay. For packet voice, Asterisk supports IAX™ (Inter-Asterisk eXchange), SIP, MGCP, Skinny (SCCP), and H.323 VoIP protocols.

Digital Techniques provides a highly refined selection of quality hardware and software products, developed and implemented using innovative engineering techniques (primarily Open Source development), as well as the regional distributor for many other SIP and VoIP based products like SIP Handset Gateway, Ranch Networks, Aastra IP Handsets and much more. A full range of professional services complement these product lines, including consulting, technical support, and custom software development services.
